Cultivar Details:

Plant Physiology: Big Body Gelati is a vigorous, medium-sized plant with narrow leaf blades and a well-balanced 50/50 hybrid growth pattern. During flowering, Big Body Gelati exhibits decent stretch and finishes fairly tall with an open frame. She has silver-white flowers with hues of lilac and purple throughout.

Average Yield: Clusters of pine-shaped buds form together into large and heavy-yielding baseball bat structures. This cross showcases the best attributes from the Chemdog (ChemD) background with a slight Gelato influence. Yields are high, and Big Body Gelati can be considered a good candidate for growers looking for a high-yielding commercial strain. Yields in excess of 60 grams per square foot can be expected under reasonable circumstances.

Flowering Time: In indoor and light deprivation-assisted greenhouses, most Big Body Gelati selections mature in 56 to 60 days after onset of a 12/12 photoperiod. For full-season cultivators, the harvest window in most northern regions is early- to mid-October.

Ideal Environmental Conditions: Big Body Gelati is slightly heat sensitive, which is common among many ChemD and OG Kush-type plants, especially when grown above ground when root temperatures can also be hard to control. Balancing fertilizer recipes and concentrations with leaf surface temperature and plant uptake can be a challenge for some cultivars. Outdoor growers in extremely arid conditions could look to utilizing a 30% shade system to keep leaf temperatures in check during early growth when roots are getting established.

Recommended Input Conditions: Like most productive cultivars, Big Body Gelati thrives on yield-oriented fertilizer schedules, provided that the substrate is well-draining and pH and electrical conductivity (EC) controls are kept within reasonable parameters. Like most ChemD-type plants, the magic happens in the last two weeks of flower. There is a lot of productivity later in the cycle, both in production and quality. Reducing fertilizer strength too early negatively impacts yields and product quality for these types of plants.

Integrated Pest Management Notes: Big Body Gelati is a vigorous plant and has shown no specific susceptibility to disease or pests. Making sure that the average 24-hour temperatures are kept in range and root zone EC and pH are stable will help it regulate its processes and reduce stressors that can lead to pests and disease.

Cannabinoid Profile: THC can be seen anywhere in the range of 22% to 32%.

Aroma Profile: Terps range from earthy OG Kush, putrid gym bag ChemD funk, with sweet hints of dough on the backend.
