Illinois Governor Signs Bill to Allow Medical Marijuana in Schools

Gov. Bruce Rauner Wednesday signed legislation allowing the use of medical marijuana in schools.

House Bill 4870 allows parents, guardians or other caregivers to administer medical marijuana to students; who are approved to use it. The adults must be registered with the Department of Public Health before they can do this.
