DENVER — PRESS RELEASE — Cannabis patients, consumers, business leaders and state lawmakers will stand together at a news conference Thursday at the Colorado Capitol to protest Gov. John Hickenlooper’s decision to veto multiple cannabis-related bills, including a bipartisan proposal to add autism to the list of qualifying conditions for medical marijuana. Because the legislation was overwhelmingly approved by state lawmakers, proponents are exploring the possibility of a special session to overturn the governor's veto.
