USDA Reopens Comments on IFR, Vermont Hemp Farmer Reports Stolen Crop: Week in Review

Farmers and industry stakeholders now have until Oct. 8 to submit comments on new working regulations.


This week, in light of a hemp farmer in Vermont reporting his entire crop stolen, the state’s agriculture agency offered up tips for preventing theft. Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has reopened the comment period for the interim final rule until Oct. 8.
