PAUL, Minn., Sept. 15, 2026 – Theory Wellness, an employee-owned cannabis company known for thoughtful retail, high-quality products and a deep respect for the plant, announced the opening of its first Minnesota dispensary. Located at 1915 Suburban Ave. in St. Paul, the new dispensary will hold its public grand opening on Sept. 15, 2026.
In its all-new experiential retail space, Theory will grow and produce products directly on site and offer large viewing windows, giving guests a direct look into the cultivation process. From young plants to mature buds, customers will be able to see the process unfold in real time, creating a rare connection between the guest and product.
"St. Paul is an exciting next step for Theory, and we wanted this store to feel true to who we are," Theory Wellness CEO Brandon Pollock said. "We care deeply about the quality of the product we grow, the experience we create for guests and the communities we become part of. To mark the opening, Theory Wellness will host grand opening activities at the St. Paul dispensary, including coffee from Backstory Coffee Roasters, in-store promotions, branded gift bags for the first 100 customers and the first opportunity for customers to experience the on-site grow viewing windows.
Highlights Include:
- The Grow Window Experience: Two large viewing windows inside the dispensary give guests a direct look into Theory's indoor cultivation facility, where cannabis plants can be seen growing and flowering on site.
- On-Site Production: With a production facility attached directly to the on-site grow, customers will have access to the freshest flower, pre-rolls, vapes and edibles possible.
- Thoughtfully Curated Products: Guests will have access to Theory's curated assortment of flower, pre-rolls, vapes, concentrates and edibles, along with a selection of locally grown and produced third-party products.
- A Welcoming Retail Experience: Theory's in-house team is trained to help customers shop comfortably, whether they are experienced cannabis consumers or visiting a dispensary for the first time. Customers will have the flexibility to pre-order online for a streamlined in-store pickup or to come in and speak with Theory team members to help build an in-store order.

Theory Wellness' St. Paul dispensary is now open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Customers must be 21 or older with a valid government-issued ID to enter and purchase cannabis products.
