[PRESS RELEASE] – WOODSTOCK, Ill., Sept. 9, 2026 – Terrabis, a leading multistate cannabis operator, will open McHenry County’s first dispensary drive-thru at its Woodstock, Ill., location by the end of September. It will be the company's second drive-thru in Illinois, following the opening of the state's first dual-window dispensary drive-thru at Terrabis Grayville on Sept. 4.
The Woodstock drive-thru will give customers a faster, more convenient way to pick up online orders without leaving their vehicle. It will operate from 6 a.m. to midnight on Sunday and Monday, and from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
"Everything we do starts with the customer, and a drive-thru is simply the most convenient way for someone to pick up an order,” Terrabis CEO Dan Ambrosino said. “We've spent years building drive-thru operations that work, and we're proud to bring that experience to Woodstock and to McHenry County."
Terrabis credited local officials with helping move the project forward.
"Mayor Turner, the City Council, Joe Napolitano and the building and planning department were tremendous partners throughout our local approvals,” Ambrosino said. “Woodstock has been a genuine collaborator from the beginning, and that's why we continue to invest here.”
Since opening, Terrabis has hired locally and supported community events, making community investment a core part of its approach in Woodstock and across Illinois. In 2025, the company sponsored Woodstock PrideFest, the Pins Fur Paws animal welfare benefit at Kingston Lanes, and the Lighting of the Square. This year, Terrabis has sponsored Groundhog Days and PrideFest, is sponsoring the Midwest Fall Fest on Sept. 19, and will again support the Lighting of the Square in December.
Woodstock will mark Terrabis' second Illinois drive-thru in under a month. The company has operated drive-thrus in Missouri since 2021, beginning in O'Fallon and Springfield, and moved its O'Fallon location to 24-hour service, seven days a week, earlier this year. Across its Missouri locations, Terrabis has completed more than 500,000 drive-thru transactions. This experience has made the company one of the most established dispensary drive-thru operators in the country.
All five of Terrabis' Illinois dispensaries are built drive-thru ready. Grayville is now open, Woodstock follows later this month, and the remaining three await local approvals.
