Jay Patel grew up in India, where he saw the negative stigma and lack of education surrounding cannabis firsthand. He witnessed how the plant was demonized by the government and media, despite its historical medicinal use in his country.
After moving to the U.S. and experiencing the positive impact of cannabis on his grandmother and son, Jay became passionate about sharing his knowledge and breaking down the stereotypes surrounding the plant. The Patel family founded Amaze Cannabis, a brand dedicated to providing high-quality, responsibly sourced cannabis products and education to consumers.
Through Amaze Cannabis, Jay hopes to change the conversation around cannabis and promote its benefits to those who may have previously been hesitant to try it. Amaze currently employs nearly 80 members of the Moberly community, including several members of his family.
