The U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs' markup hearing on the Secure and Fair Enforcement Regulation (SAFER) Banking Act (S.2860) held at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 27 in Washington, D.C. 

The legislation aims to create protections for financial institutions that provide financial services to state-licensed cannabis businesses and services providers for such businesses.
