Denver-based Clarity Gardens invited Cannabis Business Times to its indoor cultivation facility, which has undergone a complete transformation since the early days of Colorado's cannabis market, to observe and record the team in action and see how changes big and small have improved efficiencies and product quality.
Clarity Gardens operates two- and three-tier flower rooms to maximize space and control costs of production, and has made changes to optimize the facility considering the vertical structure. The company also uses rack systems in its mother and veg rooms. Robert Launder, grow manager at Clarity Gardens, explains why the company stopped transplanting their mother plants and also keeps plants in the same container from veg through flower, and how the move has led to cost, space and time savings.
Read more about Clarity Gardens' evolution in the July 2023 issue of Cannabis Business Times. Watch the first video in the series featuring harvest efficiency tips, the second video with tips to make trellising easier and the third video that details veg strategies that have led to cost savings and higher quality flower.
