[PRESS RELEASE] – SAN DIEGO, Oct. 31, 2025 — Hydroponic Research Inc., the industry leader in manufacturing powder-based plant nutrients, has partnered with Austrian LED lighting leader SANLight GmbH (SANLight Americas LLC in the U.S.) to illuminate production, developing proprietary nutrient blends under SANLight-powered advanced lighting technology stateside.
Synergy between Hydroponic Research and SANLight began in the UK a few years back, where Hydroponic Research products are well known. SANLight helped push and distribute the nutrient producer’s products in the EU, where it leads in the cannabis space. Hydroponic Research, in turn, helped introduce SANLight to U.S. customers in the cannabis cultivation space.

We both target cannabis cultivation facilities with the aim to level up their operations in regards to both efficiency and quality of growth,” Hydroponic Research CEO Chris LaRose said.
