The Table of Products for Cannabis Production Scenarios
The Table of Products lists the Colorado Department of Agriculture’s decisions on pesticide use for each listed pesticide in three different cannabis production scenarios. The list developed by the CDA is intended to assist growers in distinguishing those pesticide products whose labels do not legally prohibit use on marijuana from those that do.
Equal Safety for all Industries
“Other agricultural industries already have policy in place for the safe use of spraying certain pesticides and fungicides,” says Brett Eaton, director of horticulture at Denver-based consulting group American Cannabis Company. “This being a new industry, it just hasn’t been addressed yet.”
“As marijuana use and cultivation becomes more mainstream, this is one issue regulators will have to address. More states are likely to turn marijuana into a commodity crop in 2016. To keep consumers and marijuana grow site workers safe, it’ll take a mix of policy, science and industry self-regulation to figure out what’s appropriate, and what’s not,” continued Eaton.

Eco-PM Botanical Fungicide
Eco-PM® is a broad spectrum contact fungicide, derived from botanical plant oils and extracts such as thyme and clove oil. Eco-PM® controls diseases such as botrytis gray mold, powdery mildews, and phytophthora late blight on common garden, vegetable plants, and vines. It controls black spot on roses and anthracnose, rust, and powdery mildews on garden ornamentals.
Eco-Mite Plus
Eco-Mite Plus® is a contact miticide and insecticide, derived from botanical plant oils and extracts such as cottonseed oil, rosemary, and peppermint oil. The formula is available for use on food crops. Eco-Mite Plus controls phytophagous mites, eggs and nymphs, and other piercing-sucking insects including aphids, mealybugs, scale crawlers, thrips, and whiteflies.
