BOSTON - Twenty-six additional companies have been granted priority-certified status in the state’s adult-use cannabis licensing process.
Priority-certified companies can apply now for all nine types of adult-use licenses. Companies that didn’t make the cut have to wait until May or June, depending on the license type sought.
The Cannabis Control Commission rules whether a company obtains the early application privilege. Earlier this month, the commission released its first list of 20 approved companies.
This week’s list, released after the commission’s April 18 meeting, includes active medical dispensaries. None of the applicants on the first list was currently active.
