HONOLULU - Veterans with qualifying conditions can get a free 329 Hawaii Medical Cannabis Card certification at an event in Chinatown on Sunday, Jan. 14.
The "329 Veteran Stand Down" event will be held from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. at the Honolulu Office Center at 1110 Nuuanu Avenue.
This is the first industry-coordinated event of its kind, organized by Complementary and Alternative Medicine on Oahu (CAMO), a local nonprofit organization helping veterans and their families manage chronic illness such as PTSD with medical cannabis among other holistic-based therapies; Hawaii Dispensary Alliance (HDA); Malie Cannabis Clinic; Mended Minds Hawaii; Aloha Green Apothecary, Oahu’s first medical cannabis dispensary; Steep Hill Hawaii, the industry’s main state-sanctioned independent cannabis testing lab; Noa Botanicals, Honolulu’s newest dispensary; and Weedmaps, the popular national cannabis online hub.
