VACAVILLE — Extending a moratorium on outdoor marijuana cultivation and delivery of the drug or other commercial operations involving cannabis goes before City Council members Tuesday.
They approved an urgency 45-day moratorium Sept. 26. The measure expires Nov. 10. If extended, the ordinance will continue for another 22 months, a city staff report said.

Vacaville now prohibits all medical cannabis cultivation, dispensaries or deliveries.
The moratorium includes all medical and recreational cannabis land uses, except for personal indoor cultivation–which cannot be prohibited, the report added.
The state will begin issuing licenses for cannabis operations Jan. 1.
