How Were They Evaluated?
The CBT “Best Cannabis Companies to Work For” program was conducted in partnership with Workforce Research Group, an independent organization that identifies top employers across different industries through workplace analyses and employee satisfaction surveys. Participating companies are scored based on anonymous employee feedback (80% of the score) and employer assessments (20% of the score).

Employee surveys focus on nine key areas: Core Employee Experience; Job Experience/Satisfaction; Communication and Workplace Culture; Manager Relationship; Training, Technology and Professional Development; Diversity and Inclusion; Organizational Leadership; Employee Benefits; and Work/Life Balance.

The CBT “Best Cannabis Companies to Work For” program is open to all cannabis businesses in North America that have at least 10 full- and/or part-time permanent employees and have been in business for at least one year. To enter as a cultivation and/or dispensary business, 50% or more of the business must come from cultivation or dispensary operations, respectively.
