Once again, harvest season has come and gone, and the most difficult part is now finished: planting, growing, harvesting, drying, trimming, and preparing cannabis for storage for curing. The work is not done, however; careful handling is necessary to prevent degradation and extend your product’s shelf life.
Each year, an incredible amount of cannabis becomes less-than-desirable due to age and improper storage. Nobody wants to consume year-old cannabis that has not been properly stored, since fresh-cured cannabis equates to higher-quality product. Older cannabis that has been improperly stored typically has a darker or sometimes brown color to it, rather than a vibrant green or purple hue most associate with fresh-cured cannabis.
