AYR Wellness CEO David Goubert Steps Down Effective Immediately

MIAMI, Sept. 18, 2024 – PRESS RELEASE – AYR Wellness Inc., a leading vertically integrated U.S. multistate cannabis operator, announced that effective Sept. 18, David Goubert has stepped down as the president and CEO of the company. Goubert served as president of the company since Oct. 12, 2022, and as CEO of the company since Feb. 13, 2023.

The AYR Wellness Board of Directors thanks Goubert for his dedication to AYR and wishes him the best in his future endeavors.

Appointment of Interim CEO

The board has approved the appointment of Steven M. Cohen as interim CEO of the company, effective immediately. Cohen previously served as an outside legal adviser to the company. The board will embark on a search for a permanent CEO in due course.
