Tony Lange joined Cannabis Business Times, a business-to-business publication serving the regulated cannabis and hemp industries, as an associate editor in January 2021. Through his research and original reporting, Lange established himself as an authoritative voice for industry trends, business practices, legislative news and state market idiosyncrasies. He has made guest appearances on National Public Radio shows in Los Angeles and Cleveland, is interviewed by fellow journalists and has his work republished by other news outlets. In addition, Lange has won multiple Azbee Awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors, one of the most competitive awards programs for B2B publications. Lange was promoted to Editor of CBT in August 2024. Prior to joining CBT, Lange spent 10 years working in the weekly newspaper business, contributing primarily to Chagrin Valley Times as a beat reporter, sports editor, photographer and page designer. Before that, he was a staff assistant for a congressman in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C., where he drafted responses to constituent letters and aided the communications director. Lange is a graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in political science.
