[PRESS RELEASE] – CHELMSFORD, Mass., Oct. 6, 2025 – The Cannabist Co. Holdings Inc., one of the largest and most experienced cultivators, manufacturers and retailers of cannabis products in the U.S., announced that Michael Abbott resigned as a director of the company’s board of directors, effective Oct. 3, 2025, to pursue other personal and professional commitments.
Abbott co-founded the company as Columbia Care in 2012 and served as executive chairman of the board until 2023, and, since then, as chair of the board.
