Hemp Association Announces Earth Day Tour of Midland Hemp Company

FENTON, Michigan, April 19, 2021 - PRESS RELEASE -  iHemp Michigan, the state’s trade association for industrial hemp, announced an Earth Day tour of a Midland company that helps farmers around the state grow Michigan’s newest agricultural commodity.

Mid Michigan Hemp Supply sells seeds, seedlings and clones in a variety of genetics. They also rent the specialized equipment farmers use to plant, maintain, harvest and process industrial hemp, and their staff provides growers with the expertise necessary to succeed.

“We are excited about 2021 and Michigan recently earning formal federal approval for its hemp program,” said Blain Becktold, iHemp Michigan cofounder. “This is the third year Michigan farmers can grow hemp–whether for CBD, fiber, seeds or thousands of other products hemp can become."

“We’re celebrating Earth Day this year with one of the Great Lakes region’s top hemp authorities, and we welcome anyone with interest to join us for a look at how this company is driving Michigan’s industrial hemp movement,” Becktold said.
