Miami, Florida – Knox Medical will open its first dispensary in the Tampa Bay region on Wednesday, Dec. 20th after receiving approval to dispense medicinal cannabis in St. Petersburg, Fla. This marks the sixth dispensary the company has opened in its first year of operation, according to a press release.
A media preview will take place on the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 20th at 10:00 A.M. at the Knox Medical dispensary located at 601 34th St N in St. Petersburg.
The St. Petersburg dispensary will officially open to Knox Medical patients registered with the Medical Marijuana Use Registry that day at 12:30 PM.

Knox Medical received the highest score in Florida of all nurseries that applied in 2015 for permission from the Florida Department of Health to cultivate, process, and dispense low-THC and medical cannabis to eligible patients, according to the release.
