‘Tis the season in which it is better to give than to receive.
The+Source dispensaries in Nevada are living that adage by offering patients and customers 12 straight days of holiday specials, including $20 100mg Kiva bars, $40 Moxie cartridges and $30 half-grams of CannaVative Shatter.
From Dec. 13 through Dec. 24, The+Source, which has a dispensary in Henderson and Las Vegas, will offer a different special each day and run a canned food drive. For each non-perishable item a guest donates, he or she will receive 50 reward points or a $2 discount on any in-house pre-roll.
“We wanted to do something bigger and better than a typical holiday sale,” said Courtney Barker, purchasing manager for The+Source. “The length of the promotion gives our customers time to take advantage of these specials, and adding a new deal each day gives each vendor an individual focus.”
Both locations will feature a specific vendor each day via an onsite pop-up event. “We’ve focused our efforts on these events to bring vendors into our stores and provide a platform for customer interaction and questions, which provides a beneficial experience for our store, our vendors and our customers,” Barker said.

Planning a promotion of this size is no easy feat. There were a lot of moving pieces, Barker said, adding that the most challenging part was “communicating with our ever-growing staff, marketing team and vendors to coordinate logistics of product delivery and pop-up schedules.”
There was also the challenge of creating 12 enticing deals. With the help of its top vendors, The+Source “strategized [its] specials based on customer favorites and the flexibility of the price points,” Barker said.
To help ensure each customer or patient has a positive experience, both locations will have additional staff on hand to help serve the influx of patrons. Customers will also be invited to join The+Source’s loyalty program. Upon registering, customers will receive an additional 5 percent discount toward their purchase.
On Dec. 24, the last day of the promotion, The+Source dispensaries will close at 4:00 p.m. PST. Both locations will re-open Dec. 26.
