The ULTXPSX5 is modified to be able to handle a 10" wide tag width, enabling longer tags and stakes to be printed one at a time. It can print on a 24 mil thickness pot tag/pot stake--no other printer is capable of printing on this thick of a material. The ULTXPSX5 has a 5" print width and is capable of printing slip on tags, pot tags/pot stakes and labels on weatherproof or paper and larger signage. It is able to produce all of these materials quickly and efficiently with a quality print that is able to be read/scanned and will hold up in a demanding environment.
All stock rolls of printing materials are kept inside of the industrial strength steel case, protecting the rolls from debris in a possibly harsh grow environment. The ULTXPSX5 is also capable of producing clear bar codes, QR codes and graphics in addition to the ability of being RFID enabled. When enabled with an RFID module, the printer can simultaneously print on the front of the label and encode the RFID inlay on the backside. This is a major advantage to cultivation operations interested in employing RFID immediately for their own inventory management as well as those looking to prepare for future regulations that could possibly mandate this as a compliance requirement.
