Montana, New Mexico and New Jersey’s May 2022 adult-use sales figures are in, and the stats show a promising future for the latest adult-use markets as they continue to develop.
These three states combined for $52.6 million in adult-use sales alone for May, and that doesn’t include the last 10 days of the month in New Jersey.
New Jersey, which launched its adult-use program April 21, 2022, netted $15 million in sales during the first three weeks in May alone, averaging roughly $5 million in sales each week. Figures for the end of May in New Jersey were not available before press time, but from launch day April 21 to May 21, the state sold more than $24.2 million in adult-use cannabis.
