Voters in four states may have approved adult-use cannabis in November 2020, but the focus has been on the East Coast since that blockbuster election year and since New York lawmakers legalized cannabis the following March, as the industry has anxiously awaited details and guidance for how to move forward in two states predicted to be among the top cannabis markets in the U.S.
