EUGENE, Ore. - Next July, adults 21 and over will be able to legally use marijuana for fun in Oregon.
But some private - and public - institutions are saying "not on our property."
For example, the Universtiy of Oregon is a smoke-free campus. University officials banned tobacco products, effective September 1, 2012.
And even with the growth in marijuana edibles, pot won't be welcome on campus.
The student code of conduct also bans drug use on campus.
Communications director Julie Brown said the University doesn't plan to change its policy with the passage of Measure 91.
