BOSTON — A Plymouth medical marijuana dispensary could be the first on the South Shore to make the dive into recreational sales.
The state Cannabis Control Commission on Thursday provisionally approved three licenses for M3 Ventures on Collins Avenue in Plymouth to begin growing and selling marijuana for non-medical use. The third license would allow it to make marijuana-infused products known as edibles.
M3 Ventures was one of the three entities provisionally granted licenses Thursday. Pharmacannis, a Wareham-based company, was granted a provisional retail license and I.N.S.A. Inc., based in Easthampton, was granted provisional licenses to infuse, grow and sell non-medical marijuana.
