HONOLULU, HI – PRESS RELEASE – October 11 will mark one year since Noa Botanicals first opened its doors in Honolulu. The Hawaii-based medical cannabis dispensary is excited to announce its expansion to Windward Oahu in early 2019, making it the first Oahu dispensary to open a second location. Qualified patients will have the opportunity to purchase high quality medical cannabis at two convenient locations on Oahu – Honolulu and Kaneohe.
The new 1,700-square-foot retail dispensary will be located at the Windward Centre in Kaneohe at 46-028 Kawa Street, near Windward Mall. With a mission to improve the wellness of the community, Noa Botanicals is looking forward to providing high quality, lab tested medical cannabis products to Windward Oahu patients.
“We are so pleased be celebrating our one-year anniversary of serving our community and to be announcing our second dispensary location,” said Brian Goldstein, founder & CEO of Noa
Botanicals. “We’ve received an incredibly positive reception from our community and are looking forward to serving the qualified patients in Windward Oahu. We realize that providing high quality, medical cannabis in convenient locations is important for our patients and Kaneohe provides the ideal location to serving the Windward and North Shore communities,” he added.
The Noa Botanicals Difference
In Hawaiian, Noa means “freedom from restriction.” Noa Botanicals is working every day to
redefine cannabis as a natural choice for the community.
In its state-of-the-art cultivation facility, Noa produces unique medical cannabis strains and manufactured products that are hand-crafted to provide safe, consistent medicine for all patients. Noa offers a range of strains and CBD products, all of which have therapeutic properties. Noa’s curated menu features flowers, concentrates, tinctures, oils, cartridges and topicals.
At Noa, patient care is most important. The team serves as a partner to patients on the healing journey, providing education so that each patient can make informed decisions. In addition, Noa Botanicals offers several Pulama (to care for) Programs including:
- Pono Points – A loyalty program that lets patients redeem points for cash towards purchases.
- Compassionate Care – A program that offers the opportunity to those with qualifying financial need to have access to medical cannabis. When a patient is eligible and qualified, funding to help with the purchase of medical cannabis may be awarded.
- Special discounts to seniors, veterans, and military service dependents.
To celebrate the first anniversary, all 329 card holders are invited to join the festivities at Noa’s Honolulu retail location at 1308 Young Street - Friday, Oct. 12 through Sunday, Oct. 14. The State of Hawaii requires all potential patients to obtain a medical cannabis patient card, also called a 329 card, through the Department of Health.
Medical cannabis has been legal in Hawaii since 2000, but the Hawaii Department of Health did not begin administering the Medical Cannabis Dispensary Program until 2016. Manoa Botanicals LLC dba Noa Botanicals is one of three Oahu licensees. After receiving DOH approval, Noa opened to the public in October 2017.
