Trulieve, the second medical marijuana dispensary in Orlando, opened its doors on Nov. 28.
Trulieve, run by North Florida's Hackney Nursery, held a grand opening at its new facility at 4544 N. Orange Blossom Trail.
Trulieve also either already has opened or has plans to open dispensaries in Edgewater, The Villages, DeLand, Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Palm Bay, Gainesville, Vero Beach, Bradenton, Fort Meyers, Jacksonville, Lady Lake, Miami, Pensacola and Tallahassee.
The medical dispensary is one of three the city of Orlando approved in 2016. Knox Medical opened the first Orlando dispensary earlier this year at 1901 N. Orange Ave. in Ivanhoe Village.
