Arkansas Names 5 Companies Picked to Grow Medical Marijuana

State regulators have announced five companies that it intends to license to grow medical marijuana under a voter-approved amendment that legalized the drug for certain patients.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas regulators have announced five companies the state intends to license to grow medical marijuana under a voter-approved amendment that legalized the drug for certain patients.

The companies are Natural State Medicinals Cultivation in Jefferson County, Bold Team LLC in Woodruff County, Natural State Wellness Enterprises in Jefferson or Jackson County, Osage Creek Cultivation in Carroll County and Delta Medical Cannabis Company Inc. in Jackson County.
