Could Texas actually legalize marijuana?
The Marijuana Policy Project, which has an office in Texas, has released a report showing 18 states will legalize pot by 2020, and Texas is listed as having an 'outside shot' at being one of them.
Currently, MPP Texas Director Heather Fazio says she is working closely with lawmakers to draft a comprehensive bill legalizing the medical use of marijuana that will be introduced in the current session.
"It would allow patients to have safe and legal access to this medicine," she said.
