This week in the United Kingdom MPs were required to debate legalizing marijuana after a petition on Parliament's website garnered over 220,000 signatures making it the third most popular petition in the UK. In Australia a group of federal politicians is pushing for national uniform legislation to allow access to medicinal marijuana. The US Republican primary debate marijuana legalization played a significant role in the discussion, and Anderson Cooper even opened up the question during the Democratic presidential debate by saying they would discuss a topic that pretty much everyone in the room probably enjoyed.
