Each month, we cap our print edition with a section called End Notes. Before our next issue hits mailboxes and inboxes, we wanted to return to the last page of our September issue and to this quote from William Wrigley Jr., II, the great-grandson of Wrigley gum company founder William Wrigley, Jr., who recently made the jump from candy to cannabis. He invested millions of dollars into Surterra Wellness, a medical cannabis startup in Georgia with licenses to operate in Florida and Texas, and took on the role of chairman with the company. Here, he's discussing his foray with Bloomberg.
What's the biggest surprise you've encountered in your time in the cannabis industry so far? What's a lesson you've learned that you hadn't expected to come across?
Let us know on our Facebook page or on our Twitter account. We'd like to spotlight business owners' and investors' shared experiences, and understand better how the cannabis market shapes those businesses.
And come visit other industry leaders at the 2019 Cannabis Conference in Las Vegas. See you there!
