Last we heard from the longstanding federal government sanctioned grow at University of Mississippi, President Obama was ordering 1,430 pounds of marijuana for "medical research." That order of cannabis was 50 times the norm, and signified the government and its NIDA branch (of the National Institutes of Health) significantly upping the ante on its federal marijuana research and development.
Nearly a year later, in what sounds like a formality, NIDA and the University of Mississippi have renewed their contract with the federal government (President BHO!) giving the university $68.8 million to continue to grow the medical dank down South. And just like last year, the Green House still plans on upping the ante--by a massive 30,000 plants.
