Midwest Universities Create a Hemp Database, Colorado Hemp Industry Protests Company Chosen to Head Center of Excellence: Week in Review

Members of the Colorado hemp industry have decried the state department of agriculture for selecting the Marijuana Policy Group to head up the Hemp Center of Excellence.


This week, the Navy has administered a memo clarifying that service members are prohibited from using “any products containing, made or derived from hemp” regardless of their stated cannabinoid content, including shampoos, conditioners, lotions, lip balms or soaps. Meanwhile, members of the Colorado hemp industry are protesting the Colorado Department of Agriculture’s selection of the Marijuana Policy Group to establish the state’s Hemp Center of Excellence.
