[PRESS RELEASE] – CHELMSFORD, Mass., Sept. 9, 2025 – The Cannabist Co., one of the most experienced cultivators, manufacturers and retailers of cannabis products in the U.S., announced the grand opening of Cannabist Norwalk, located at 383 Milan Ave., which will take place Sept.10. This is the company’s sixth dispensary in Ohio, the first cannabis dispensary in Huron County, and the first to serve the Norwalk community.
Cannabist Norwalk marks the debut of The Cannabist Co.’s signature retail brand, Cannabist, in Ohio. Dual-use licensing will enable the location to serve both medical patients and adult-use customers.

Cannabist Norwalk will celebrate its grand opening on Sept. 10. Customers will have the opportunity to enroll in the store’s loyalty program, with location-specific sales planned throughout the opening day.
Customers visiting Cannabist Norwalk will find a thoughtfully selected range of house brands, including Classix, Seed & Strain, and Triple Seven, alongside more than 100 third-party brands carried across the state. The dispensary's product range spans flower, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates and topicals, with additional brand partnerships expected to expand the menu in the coming months.
The Cannabist Co. operates significant cultivation and manufacturing operations in Ohio, supported by advanced facilities that help meet growing demand for innovative, high-quality products serving both medical and adult-use customers. With the addition of the Norwalk dispensary, The Cannabist Co. strengthens its retail presence throughout the state. The company’s seventh Ohio location, to be located in Saint Clairsville, is anticipated to open later this year, pending regulatory approvals.
