The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs issued an advisory bulletin this week that lists 16 terms that are prohibited in medical marijuana advertising. For example, businesses may not use the word "dispensary."

The state advises that medical marijuana retail businesses use "provisioning center" or "marihuana facility." (Note the "h" in the spelling, a compositional quirk unique to Michigan regulations.)
