
[PRESS RELEASE] – CHICAGO, May 13, 2026 – Verano Holdings Corp., a leading multistate cannabis company, announced that the company has submitted applications with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to register certain state-licensed medical cannabis operations, pursuant to the expedited registration pathway provided by the federal rescheduling of medical marijuana to Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act.
