Veteran hip-hop stars Redman and Method Man have a well-established affinity for marijuana. The two emcees found a second career playing up their chemistry as a Gen. X Cheech & Chong–most notably in the 2001 comedy How High–and it looks like those personas may be leading to a new business venture.
The rappers have been meeting with Jeremy Carr, CEO of BlazeNow, an app service that would help marijuana enthusiasts find dispensaries. Carr revealed to HipHopDX that Red and Meth have been in constant support and communication with BlazeNow.
“[Method Man & Redman] have been aware of the development of BlazeNow for a little while and they love the business plan and like the app and want to be involved,” Carr explained.
