Cultivar Details:

Plant Physiology: Oreoz has a short to medium stature with dark green Afghanica-type leaves during the vegetative growth period. In flower, Oreoz displays a narrow profile and medium stretch. The leaves turn a deep purple to black color (hence the name Oreoz) with cream- and lavender-accented flowers that are extremely resinous and encrusted with crystals.

Yield: Oreoz is a mid-to-high yielding cultivar when plant spacing is 33% tighter than average. In-house trials of Oreoz have yielded 55–60 grams per square foot or 600 grams per square meter.

Flowering Time: Recommended flowering time for indoor and light-deprivation greenhouses is 54-60 days. Outdoor harvests can be expected in early October in northern latitudes. Oreoz finishes growing reasonably early.

Breeder Notes: Oreoz is a beautiful, dark purple, diamond-encrusted plant with a menthol gas nose and stunning bag appeal.

Ideal Environmental Conditions: During the vegetative and early flowering stage, Oreoz is light-resilient and does well in most situations where light levels are elevated. During the last 2 weeks of flower, a reduction of light intensity is recommended to preserve flower quality and terpene expression. Oreoz performs well indoors at 800-900 photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD).

Recommended Input Conditions: Oreoz is fairly versatile and performs best multi-topped with numerous flower sites per plant at the canopy level. A well-draining substrate is recommended to promote healthy root development. Oreoz’ fertilizer needs are moderate, peaking at around 2.2 electrical conductivity (EC) at 6 weeks in flower.

Susceptibility to Disease: Oreoz’ coloring and terpene content do not attract pests such as aphids and whiteflies, and the cultivar is fairly resistant to existing pest pressure. Oreoz is not susceptible to molds or mildews, although this variety has the best flavor profile if left to mature fully, leaving a risk for Botrytis cinerea infection at 60-plus days in high-humidity environments.

Cannabinoid Profile: THCA 25%-29%, CBGA 0.6%. The effects of this cannabinoid profile and terpene expression are generally sedating.

Terpene Profile: Oreoz’ dominant terpenes are caryophyllene, humulene, trans-nerolidol, limonene, and myrcene. Reported flavor profiles are cream, diesel, and chocolate.
