[Press release] MADISON, Wis. – Quest has released two new portable dehumidifiers for cannabis growers in need of mobile units that allow them to quickly add or increase humidity control.
The Quest CDG 174 is one of the most powerful portable units available, removing 176 pints per day at 80 degrees and 60 percent relative humidity. It weighs 135 pounds, making it easy to roll from one grow room to another.
For a more compact alternative, Quest has launched the CDG 74, which weighs only 82 pounds, making it one of the lightest dehumidifiers in the category. It removes 75 pints of water per day at 80 degrees and 60 percent relative humidity, operating on 5.5 amps.
Portable dehumidifiers are designed for growers who need to move units between multiple rooms and those who require extra capacity to assist their installed dehumidifiers. Quest portable dehumidifiers like the CDG 174 and CDG 74 are built on wheels and encased in durable materials to protect the units when they’re on the move. They produce no light to ensure total darkness during night cycles.
“Our goal is to protect your plants from mold and mildew in the most energy-efficient way possible,” said Clif Tomasini, Quest’s director of business operations. “With more dehumidifier models and features to choose from, growers are able to select units that fit their specific setups.”
