Effective July 1, Smesmo will be responsible for the Midwest territory, which encompasses the states of Minnesota, Missouri, Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois. Smesmo was born and raised in Minnesota and today lives in Sartell. He attended St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud.
When asked about assuming the responsibility for this territory, Smesmo said, “I am so proud to be part of this team of greenhouse experts. I have known most of the people I will be working with since I started in the horticulture market and admire the commitment that the company and all of the employees have to excellence. I also have a relationship with many of the customers that I will be working with.”
Craig Humphrey, vice president of engineering at Nexus, welcomed Jeff to the Nexus/RBI sales team. He said, “Many of our customers in the Midwest territory know and admire Jeff. His background will be of great value as we continue to provide a full-turnkey process of design, manufacturing and installation.”
