Experts are looking to gather a group of marijuana users to determine how safe it is to smoke and drive.
The Colorado School of Public Health is searching for volunteers for a study on how cannabis affects the operation of motor vehicles, the Denver Channel reports.
“We know that certain drugs really deteriorate people’s performance behind the wheel. Alcohol is the classic example for that,” Micahel Kosnett told the Channel. Kosnett is an Associate Clinical Professor and Medical Toxicologist in charge of co-directing the study. “Our understanding of how cannabis affects driving is less well developed.”
