LAS VEGAS (Feb. 1, 2023) – Registration has officially opened for Cannabis Conference, the cannabis industry’s leading conference for cannabis cultivators, retailers, extraction professionals and cannabis brands. The seventh-annual event will feature several new educational and networking opportunities to help plant-touching businesses survive and thrive in the ever-changing cannabis market.

Cannabis Conference 2023, which will return to the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino from Aug. 15-17, is presented by award-winning media brand Cannabis Business Times. The industry event will bring together more than 3,000 current and prospective cannabis business operators, university professors, consultants and other industry professionals from across the U.S. and more than 30 countries.

New this year will be a daylong Cultivation Roundtable, an educational and networking event for cultivation professionals. This VIP opportunity co-chaired by longtime cultivators David Holmes, founder and CEO of Clade⁹, and Scott Reach, owner of Rare Dankness and House of Dankness, will be limited to 150 attendees and offers a forum for growers to network and candidly discuss the biggest challenges they are facing and solutions that are working for them. Growers will leave armed with a litany of ideas and tactics to help their businesses and careers.

Also new in 2023 are How to Launch a Cultivation Business and How to Launch a Dispensary workshops—daylong intensives for those planning on entering the cannabis industry. These add-on events explore the intricacies of cultivation and dispensary startups—from site selection and facility considerations to anticipated costs/budget considerations, the application process, regulatory and tax nuances to expect, staffing and essential outsource partners, financing sources and restrictions, go-to-market strategies and much more—to help ensure you are prepared with strategic insights to support your new business’s successful launch.

The show also features an 85,000-square-foot exhibit hall showcases the leading technology and solutions providers that serve plant-touching cannabis businesses—such as horticultural lighting, nutrients, growing media, pest control, structures, drying and storage solutions, IT services, marketing solutions, facility design, accounting and finance, POS software, packaging and labeling, and much more.

Cannabis Conference’s education program will address the most pressing issues plant-touching businesses face, as well offer tangible solutions operators can apply to their own businesses. With a focus this year on cultivation science and how plant-touching businesses can innovate to survive the market downturn, sessions are being crafted with the assistance of Cannabis Conference Advisory Board members, who come from leading companies in the space, such as Cresco Labs, Jushi, Legion of Bloom, Curaleaf, Merida Capital, PharmaCann Inc., Papa & Barkley, and more.

“The legal cannabis industry is facing its most challenging time to date, and this year’s Cannabis Conference is focused on providing strategic solutions to help plant-touching cannabis businesses survive this market downturn and come out stronger on the other side,” Cannabis Conference Editorial Director Noelle Skodzinski said. “Learning from and networking with others facing the same day-to-day challenges and who have found solutions, and discovering new technologies and products that can help streamline operations and cut costs, is so crucial to successfully navigating this turbulent market.”

Opening registration rates, which will increase March 16, range from $99 (Expo Only) to $499 (All-Access Pass) and $699 (VIP Pass for cultivators only). Detailed pricing and registration information can be found at www.cannabisconference.com/page/prices.
