The results of Cannabis Business Times' new poll of the marijuana industry are in–and they're pretty much positive across the board. Industry constituents who participated in the poll overwhelmingly say Tuesday's votes on the legalization of recreational marijuana in Oregon and Alaska will pass.

The industry's perception on the vote to legalize medical marijuana in Florida is optimistic yet less certain, however: Half of poll respondents say the Sunshine State's Amendment 2 will pass, while a significant percentage (35%) think it will not pass, and 15% remain unsure. (It's important to note that Florida's amendment requires a 60% vote pass, unlike the ballot measures in other states, which require just 50%.)

MJ industry insiders also believe the vote in D.C. to legalize possession and home cultivation will pass–but many (43%) believe that Congress will then enact a "Home Rule" measure to prevent Initiative 71 from actually taking effect.
