Harrisburg, Pa. – A bill that would legalize the use of marijuana in Pennsylvania for medical purposes is heading to the Senate floor.
The Senate Appropriations Committe passed the measure Monday.
A similar bill passed the Senate last year, but failed to receive enough votes in the House.
Senators Daylin Leach (D-Montgomery County) and Mike Folmer (R-Lebanon County) reshaped the bill to add a more comprehensive registry …. They also added conditions like PTSD, HIV, AIDS, and glaucoma to the list of conditions eligible for prescription.
