[PRESS RELEASE] – BOCA RATON, Fla., Nov. 3, 2026 – Jushi Holdings Inc., a vertically integrated, multistate cannabis operator, announced that it has received registrations from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for certain state-licensed medical marijuana operations as part of the initial issuance of federal registrations to qualifying medical marijuana businesses.
The registrations follow the attorney general's April 2026 order, which rescheduled qualifying state-licensed medical marijuana to Schedule III under the Controlled Substances Act and established a federal regulatory framework for eligible operators. The company previously announced the submission of its DEA registration applications on May 28, 2026.
“Receiving DEA registrations represents an important milestone for Jushi and the medical patients we serve,” Jushi CEO Jim Cacioppo said. “We appreciate the efforts of the Trump administration and the DEA in advancing meaningful cannabis reform and recognizing state-licensed medical cannabis operators. We believe this marks an important step toward greater alignment between state and federal regulation and a more consistent regulatory framework for the industry.”
