Medford, Ore -- The man in charge of  writing the rules for Oregon's recreational marijuana shops has been fired for leaking confidential documents according to the Oregon Liquor Control Commission.
Tom Burns was the director of Oregon's  marijuana program, and involved in pioneering  Oregon's medical marijuana program.
After sharing important documents he's out of a job and Oregon lawmakers are taking a closer look at the rules surrounding legal marijuana sales.
Tom Towslee, spokesperson for the Oregon Liquor Control Commission, says the former head of OLCC's marijuana program is out of a job after leaking confidential information.
