UCANN Drops Patent Lawsuit, Hemp Grower Conference Dates Announced: Week in Review

The Hemp Grower Conference will bring together industry experts for three days of grower-centric networking, education, and expo.

This week, Hemp Grower announced the date of its debut Hemp Grower Conference, which will take place Nov. 8-10, 2021 at Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Fla. The event will feature three days of education and expo, bring together hemp growers, industry experts, solutions providers, and more. Read more

United Cannabis Corporation (UCANN) also dropped its complaint against Pure Hemp Collective over patent rights this week. The basic contention, according to UCANN in the summer of 2018, was that Pure Hemp Collective had infringed on the company’s patent for “[a] liquid cannabinoid formulation wherein at least 95% of the total cannabinoids is cannabidiol (CBD).” Read more
