A cannabis dispensary in the City of Shasta Lake is one of the first in the state to become licensed for recreational marijuana sales.
530 cannabis has been serving the local medical cannabis community for more than 8 years.
But come January 1, they will be one of only a handful of businesses in the state also licensed to sell recreational cannabis.
“On January 1, we can open our doors to a whole new market and that's the adult use market,” 530 Cannabis owner Jamie Gardot said. “So we're going to be a little bit more busy than usual, which is great.”
